Dr Vanley Burke humbles FEED:CONTACT

Dr Vanley Burke delivered a personal and humbling seminar on Wednesday night. From his birth place in Jamaica to visits to South Africa and The Gambia and the streets of Handsworth, Birmingham, Vanley told astonishing stories that revealed the heart of all the places he
has visited.

If you didn’t carry a camera along with you the next day – you missed the point!

FEED would very much like to thank Vanley for taking the time to come in and remind some of us about why we do what we do, thank you.

A massive thank you has to go to Hannah and Carl for putting together a beautiful exhibition of photography from their various courses here at MBC.

Lastly, thank you to all of you that bought tickets and helped make this event the success it was – thank you from FEED…

My favourite FEED night yet,
Dr Vanley is very kool.
One thing he said that night really stands out in my memory,it was "Life has no rehearsal, own the moment,
let your presence be known."

I used that advice the very next day.
