FEED STUDIO LAUNCH

Just in case you missed it – here are some pictures and films from the FEED studio launch.

The event kicked off with a short film made by Birmingham Studio 'Supermarche'. The film’s theme is based on the changing landscapes of our region. “It’s a reaction piece about the amount of buildings coming down and being replaced by new ones in short spaces of time. When we grew up in the Birmingham area all the urban areas tended to be industrial factories – now they are either being ripped down or revamped into luxurious apartments. The jury is out on whether it is a good thing or not,” says Supermarche. Two FEED students, Leon Kesko and Anthony Zizzi helped out at the Supermarche Studio with the 3D work for the film. “It was cool working with Supermarche but the pace in which things are made is slightly different to that of college life. I learnt a lot in a short space of time – it has given me the push I needed to make my own work,” explained Anthony Zizzi.

Supermarche will be collaborating on more projects with FEED in the near future so watch this space…
