WELL DONE LETICIA CAMPOY VEGA & RYAN KILLEEN

Various projects by Leticia Campoy Vega

Congratulations to Leticia, FEED_HND 2 Graphic Design student, who was picked from 4,000 other student's from all over the world as 'One To Watch' at The Free Range 09 Shows, London. Not only is this a great achievement due to the fact she was chosen from a pool of students from Universities such as Central St Martins and GoldSmiths it comes with months of press exposure from the likes of Grafik magazine, Dazed and Confused, The Guardian, The Times and many more.

"She thoroughly deserves it - she is an extremely talented learner that not only continuously debates and contextualises art and design but explores new and fresh ways to present ideas. She is a pleasure to teach and is extremely modest about the whole thing" says HND Course Director Adam Guy.

Leticia is one of five learners that have been picked to be a Free Range Ambassador and is the only Graphic Designer to be chosen -  the others selected are Photography and Fine Art students, which makes it even more special. She will start her press duties on the 15th April, whilst visiting the prestigious Old Trueman Galleries, Bricklane, London.

As well as Leticia, Ryan Killeen also from FEED_HND Graphics has been shortlisted as one of ten students for a feature in the famous Grafik magazine. We'll keep you posted on the results.

Well done to both of you from all of us at FEED.

Dr Vanley Burke humbles FEED:CONTACT

Dr Vanley Burke delivered a personal and humbling seminar on Wednesday night. From his birth place in Jamaica to visits to South Africa and The Gambia and the streets of Handsworth, Birmingham, Vanley told astonishing stories that revealed the heart of all the places he
has visited.

If you didn’t carry a camera along with you the next day – you missed the point!

FEED would very much like to thank Vanley for taking the time to come in and remind some of us about why we do what we do, thank you.

A massive thank you has to go to Hannah and Carl for putting together a beautiful exhibition of photography from their various courses here at MBC.

Lastly, thank you to all of you that bought tickets and helped make this event the success it was – thank you from FEED…
